This is an excellent opportunity to become part of this successful international food group. There are some big expansion plans on the way for the business, which has a solid reputation of supplying products to foodservice companies throughout the UK and Europe.
As Technical Manager, the purpose of your role is to maintain the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with legislative and customer requirements.
You will manage external audits and supplier approval processes, keep abreast of industry developments and best practice, legislative and customer requirements, monitor compliance against the quality policy, support the ‘technical’ interface with all sales accounts providing technical information i.e. specifications, receiving complaints/non-conformances and responding with corrective actions, maintain the approved supplier list requesting accreditation certificates and other required documentation, manage the artwork approval process for brand and own label products and play an integral role in the crisis management team.
You will be an extremely driven and passionate individual with at least 10- years experience from a technical lead role within food manufacturing. A background of working with meat or poultry is essential. You will also have excellent customer facing and supplier management experience including auditing, have strong knowledge of QMS and outstanding organisational skills.
The Technical Manager job is based in the South East region and is paying £50,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
