The company is part of a quality chilled foods group supplying to a number of the major retailers including Tesco, Waitrose and Morrison’s. It makes a wide range of chilled foods in well-invested sites that give its staff the facilities and environment to produce food to the highest quality and food safety standards.
As Quality Compliance Technician, you will ensure that internal audit processes meet customer and legal requirements for food safety, legality and quality standards.
You will carry out internal auditing system management, investigate and troubleshoot quality related issues arising from customer complaints and on-site non-conformances, compile and update KPI documentation, ensure that monthly traceability audits are carried out to customer and charter standards, collate and distribute QA audit summaries, carry out QA audits relating to GMP, HACCP, quality and hygiene, management of pest control and conduct and communicate fabrication and hygiene audits.
To be considered for the Quality Compliance Technician role, you will possess relevant QA / technical experience from food manufacturing environment, most preferably chilled products. You will also have a background dealing with the major multiple retailers and their technical standards and experience of auditing production and system processes. To succeed, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work with people at all levels and good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
The Quality Compliance Technician job is based in the East Midlands region and is paying £20,500. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, however flexibility will be essential to meet the needs of the business including morning, afternoon, night and weekend shift cover.
