The role will also involve accountability for people and also controlling and reporting of key prime costs such as line efficiency & waste levels. You will take responsibility for the management of line employees, ensuring labour optimisation, ensure processes and procedures are adhered to and cover the line in the absence of the Team Manager.
The successful candidate will need to have a clear understanding of the importance of safety, quality and efficiency and be able to drive all line standards i.e. housekeeping and hygiene. You will have at least 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role gained within an FMCG / food manufacturing environment and possess good communication and team leadership skills, together with the ability to support the Team Manager on relevant projects. The role requires someone who is confident with the ability to prioritise and challenge the status quo.
The Production Line Coordinator job is based in the North West region and is paying up to £31,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. You will be working a rotating 12 hour shift pattern consisting of 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 off.
