The job

As Quality & Compliance Technologist, the primary purpose of your role is to drive quality culture on site and ensure the site remains compliant to the requirements of the quality manual.

You will be responsible for receiving customer complaints or issues, logging, responding and closing issues in agreed timelines, assisting in supplier reviews, working with the compliance team to ensure all suppliers, warehouses and hauliers meet company standards, manage QA recalls and quarantine actions in line with company processes plus create, check and communicate technical specifications for new product cycles/development.

Your experience

To be considered for the Quality & Compliance Technologist role, you will ideally be of a graduate calibre within a food science, food technology or related discipline and possess at least 2 years technical food manufacturing experience. You will be at least Level 3 HACCP qualified and also have experience of labelling regulations, client liaison, supplier liaison, new product development and quality systems assessments. A full UK valid driving licence is also required.

The Quality & Compliance Technologist job is based in the London region and is paying £22,000 - £25,000 pro rata according to individual skills and previous experience. This is a 6 month contract role.
