Technical & Quality Manager

A family run business who have been serving their premium quality product range to the wholesale, catering and retail trade for the best part of 100 years are on the look-out for a Technical Manager. If you would like the opportunity to join a market leading food specialist with a national presence then read on.

You will be responsible for creating and developing the technical team as well as leading the business through their first BRC Audit. To be considered for this role candidates should demonstrate:

  • Frozen food product background
  • Previously led a BRC Audit
  • Labelling knowledge
  • Experience of Supplier assurance/audits
  • Internal audit experience
  • Complaints management
  • QA Manager or Technical Manager level

Other responsibilities include:

  • Full detailed product specifications (Updated)
  • Approved Supplier system
  • Supplier SAQ’s (Maintained, updated, BRC Certifications)
  • Labelling checks & updates
  • Customer complaints / requests
  • HACCP Policy (Maintained, tested, updated)
  • Quality Management system
  • None Conformance management & reporting (KPI’s)
  • BRC Storage & Distribution
  • Internal Audits
  • External Audits

On offer is a starting salary up to £40,000 per annum + bonus, working Monday to Friday (office hours). The role will be based at my client’s production facility and head office located in East London.
