This role is working for a large manufacturer of recognisable UK brands. Part of a large international group, the business is always in the search for talented people who can contribute to providing the best products and services to their customers nationwide.
Your purpose as Hygiene Manager is to manage, facilitate and coach the hygiene departmental team performance, encouraging and ensuring the development of individuals and teams within the department through clear and inspirational leadership.
Working through others in your team and through the manufacturing teams, you will achieve high levels of targeted hygiene performance, correct factory standards and customer satisfaction with factory cleanliness; this will be, with your direction, founded on, and driven by a culture of continuous improvement along with development and learning.
You will be able to demonstrate a solid track record within an FMCG/food manufacturing environment with proven leadership and management experience. Ideally educated to a degree level in a food science / technology discipline, you will have good working knowledge of hygiene systems, chemicals and equipment, waste management systems and ideally be Advanced Food Hygiene qualified. You will be influential, results focused and possess excellent planning and organisation skills.
The Hygiene Manager job is based in the Home Counties region and is paying £35,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
