One of their UK’s flagship sites is currently going through a period of change which involves the factory undergoing a large capacity expansion (40%). This is where you some in. As an experienced food safety professional, your initial focus will be to play an important part in this transition and will oversee and safeguard all food safety and quality compliance aspects to ensure the new production areas continue to meet the global corporate technical standards and goals the company sets for itself. Moving forward and after this transition has been completed, you will be responsible for ensuring the high standards are continuously met and the quality culture is embraced and adhered to by all stakeholders.
The Successful Candidate
A high level of food safety knowledge is required. Food Safety experience within a large-scale FMCG manufacturer will also be key as well as strong project management skills. The successful candidate will need to be an effective in order to discuss business issues with a number of key internal stakeholders in order to deliver this important role.
