Sales Order Processor & Admin Support

Full time: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (one hour lunch break)

The Company

Fruitapeel is an industry-leading manufacturer of fruit and confectionary sauces supplying several high profile brands. Based in Simonswood, Fruitapeel prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service.
Fruitapeel is looking for a candidate to join our Supply Chain Team. Main duties will be logging customer sales orders on to Sage and carrying out general admin support. The role will liaise internally with Technical, Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse and Sales depts and externally with customers.

The Role

Key day-to-day tasks include:

  • Input customer orders onto Sage 200, verifying prices and product details
  • Liaise with customers regarding all orders and any issues that may arise  
  • Liaise with the Production Planner, Logistics & Material Scheduler regarding customer orders
  • Enter and manage customer forecast into Sage to support the demand planner
  • Enter works orders onto Sage when required
  • Manage communication throughout the business
  • Answering the telephone and transferring calls
  • POD Management
  • Stand in for other areas of the business as and when required
  • To adhere to all Health and Safety legislation and to actively promote a safety culture

The Candidate

  • Experience within a busy office environment is preferred
  • Good English communication – verbal and written
  • Accurate mathematical skills
  • Good understanding of Sage 200, Microsoft Excel and Word is essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a pressured environment
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work with attention to detail
  • Well organised
