Role: National Account Manager - Food Service and Business Development

We are built on people like you: an exceptional National Account Manager who has what it takes to make an impact at our site. We are the world's oldest Christmas pudding maker, producing around 97% of the UK Christmas pudding market. The Derbyshire factory opened in 1899 and relocated to its present site in Heanor in 1967. We produce over 100 different varieties of Christmas pudding and a variety of sponge puddings, supplying to all major UK retailers and a number of food service customers. We also supplies a range of Christmas puddings to international customers including Woolworths in Australia
About the Role:
Fantastic opportunity for a Food industry commercial sales professional to move up into a National Account Manager role
AS a NAM you will focus on growing the food service business through developing strong customer relationships with existing accounts and winning new food service accounts. You will also work closely with the Business Development Manager to drive export growth
The role is based from Heanor but the NAM will spend a substantial proportion of their time in the field.

- Sales experience in the food industry
- Food service experience: supplying to the food service sector or worked for a Food service company.
- Hungry, motivated, hardworking and flexible.
- First rate communication and negotiation skills
- Lives within travelling distance of Heanor
