A progressive FMCG organisation is seeking an accomplished and proven Lean Practitioner to help them embark on a journey of Lean Manufacturing and provide direction to the site in their transition to 'True Lean'. Working closely with the General Manager you will set the pace and implement the transformational strategy. This really is a blank canvas so represents an opportunity to shape the businesses future.
Ideally a Graduate with a relevant degree in Operations, Engineering, this pivotal role reports into the General Manager, and being part of a dynamic management team, you will have a level of autonomy and an opportunity to make a significant difference to drive a cultural change by coaching, training and mentoring all levels of the business and to implement the Lean master plan for process development and sustainability. A key member of the Senior Team you will outline direction and deployment of the Lean framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the factory.
A high performing Lean Manufacturing Manager / CI Manager / Continuous Improvement Manager with previous experience of a key management role from within a fast paced Food Manufacturing environment you will possess both strong theoretical and practical knowledge gained from previously implementing a highly successful strategy utilising tools such as 6 Sigma, DMAIC, SMED, TPM etc. It goes without saying that you will have a high level influencing skills with the credibility and gravitas to engage across all levels of the organisation.
