A fantastic position has recently arisen for a talented and ambitious Planner to join an exciting and well-respected company within the food manufacturing sector. The role be to plan and organise manufacturing volumes throughout the shift in the most cost-effective way, ensuring Company procedures are adhered to and customer specifications are met.

In your role, you will need to plan to ensure there is enough there is adequate raw materials and packaging to meet production demands. In doing this, you will need to develop good working relationships with other departments and suppliers and communicate any relevant information.

You will need to promote a continuous improvement culture in your working methods to help improve performance and cut down costs. You will need to update the MRP and ERP systems ensuring accuracy. This role will be very challenging but also very satisfying and rewarding.

Ideal Candidate
*Experience in a planning role within a food manufacturing company.
*Excellent problem-solving skills to carryout duties and adapt to changes in the business.
*Advanced Excel skills is also required for the ideal candidate.
*Strong communication skills to develop strong relationships with other departments and customers.
