I am currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager. The client I am working with is a Food Manufacturer based in London. We are seeking someone who has a degree in Food Science, detailed experience in a similar role and people management skills. Reporting into the Head of Technical you will maintain and drive technical compliance in technical services.

My client specialise in the production of foods supplying the UK major grocery retailers in private-label brands alongside an international network and presence. They offer a clear career development path through continuous support & their focused passion for great food.

This position will, ideally, suit a senior Technical professional who is able to work in an independent role as part of a wider multi-skilled and diverse technical team. There is a requirement to conduct supplier audits which requires travel to Europe (5 to 8 times a year) so applicants must be flexible to do so.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Raw Materials – manage the onsite operation
  • HACCP – systems
  • Specifications – completion of finished product specs
  • Non-conformances – customer complaints
  • Compliance
  • Health Safety & Environment

On offer is a starting salary of £45,000 per annum (negotiable) plus bonus plus extensive benefits package. This position is Monday to Friday 08.30am until 17.00pm.
