The Role:

As a Demand Planner based in London, you will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to generate Demand Plans in a timely fashion, whilst communicating efficiently Demand Changes to the Supply Planners & Production Planners.  

You will constantly liaise with key stakeholders to influence decisions and improve forecast accuracy and you will be expected to review historical figures and trends to apply suitable statistical models so that all product fulfilments runs smoothly and orders are on time and meeting deadlines.

 Additionally, you’ll be expected to organise, prepare and conduct Demand input meetings whilst constantly identifying and resolving key forecast accuracy issues.  You’ll also be relied on to ensure that forecasts are accurate at customer group level to support budgeting process.

The successful candidate:

  • Experience of statistical forecasting processes and demand planning.
  • Forecasting system experience,
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical, good attention to detail
  • Good at influencing, pro-active and result driven 
  • Good Team player, leadership potential is a plus
  • Good understanding of supply chain, food is a plus 
  • Excel proficient is a plus
  • Degree level desirable but not essential.
