They're a strong, British built and led business who have steadily increased their order book over the last few years through strong technical standards and a commitment to quality. They've had serious wins over the competition, and they've also historically used interims to support their growth. If you're an interim - this is good news!
You're going to be responsible for maintaining day to day technical standards of a tough food manufacturing site during a period of significant change. This change will affect the technical department directly, and that will obviously knock on to the entire production team. We need someone who is used to working with hardened operations staff, and who can make the day to day technical agenda a priority.
The business supplies all the major multiples, albeit with one major customer, and their product is chilled.
You need to be able to demonstrate that you can ensure high technical standards on a demanding site. The site will be going through change, and you need to be able to help make new standards a reality in the factory.
You won't necessarily be writing all the new standards, but you absolutely will be involved in ensuring they're adhered to.
A background with chilled, fast paced manufacturers will be a plus.
Successful assignments on difficult sites will be a big plus.
The ability to work with the shop floor is also going to help.
Being a career interim would be a plus, but if you're very good and available in the right timescales, then that's fine.
You'll need to be available in 1-3 weeks, too. That's starting in October, ideally the half which is closest to summer!
