QA Assistant with Bakery experience is required by this mainstream Bakery Food Manufacturing business - this role has a rotating shift pattern.
This is an impressive operation with high volume output of bakery products from speciality breads to doughnuts and cookies.
The key objectives for this role are to ensure production standards are kept to a high standard, ensuring traceability and documentation are maintained at all times as well as recording equipment is calibrated and used effectively.
Key Activities in this role will include:
·Ensuring daily compliance to Quality Management System, Customer Specification, Legal Requirements, and Food Safety Standards.
·Investigate and record customer complaints
·Audit Production and Hygiene areas
·Maintenance of training records for all team members
·Work closely with Production and Hygiene teams
Potential candidate should meet much of the criteria below:
·Bakery food background - this really is very important
·Food Degree or equivalent or a strong educational background a experience of Quality Assurance in the Food Sector
·Knowledge of BRC, HACCP systems & quality management system
·Team player & good communicator.
·Good IT, Organisational and Planning skills
·Demonstrable problem-solving ability
