Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical)

My client, a well-known name in the food industry is looking for an mechanically biased Engineer with excellent plant maintenance and PPM and breakdown skills.

Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer / Shift Engineer (continental shift pattern)
Location: North Yorkshire/West Yorkshire border
Salary: c£38,000

Candidate:

  • Do you have a number of years' experience as a cross skilled Maintenance Engineer?
  • Are you a time-served engineer and educated to HNC level, or equivalent, in Engineering?
  • Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally with an mechanical bias?
  • Are you a team player?

Role:

  • Involves working on a continental shift pattern (days & nights)
  • Respond to breakdowns, completing planned and preventative maintenance and being involved in machinery installations, when necessary
  • Look for opportunities to continually improve the performance of the production machinery
