This job is working for a fast growing and well-funded business which has steadily and successfully grown from their start up 3 years ago. Always at the forefront of product development and innovation they have ambitious and exciting plans to test new markets and products, therefore this is a fantastic opportunity to be a key member in the company’s development.
This is a key role in a new warehouse where you will manage your own team of agency staff and report directly to the Warehouse & Fulfilment Manager.
You will lead a team of agency staff to pick, pack and dispatch orders effectively, utilise basic computer skills to manage and print new orders through the company system, be responsible for quality assurance with KPIs to bring fulfilment errors below target, remain organised and switched on to identify any potential problems as and when they occur, pass products to the postal company on a daily basis and able to complete all associated paper work and also work closely with the Warehouse & Fulfilment Manager to implement process improvements.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, a fast learner plus be confident managing a team. You will possess basic computer literacy across Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and able to use basic web tools. Previous experience of working in a food industry / warehouse environment is preferable and a Forklift Licence is also an advantage.
The Picking & Packing Team Leader job is based in the South East region and is paying £18,000 - £20,000 depending on individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm.
