Regulatory Affairs Advisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Advisor to join our expanding client-based food specialist team of Regulatory Advisors. 

Job Overview:

As an Advisor, you will be responsible for providing regulatory advice on legislation, industry guidance and the client’s policies. You will be expected to support members of the Ashbury team helping to ensure specifications and artworks meet the needs of the client. You will also be involved in delivering of training on regulatory topics and client specific policies, as well as other compliance projects and client enquiries.  

You will be expected to keep abreast of regulatory affairs and demonstrate both commercial and industry awareness. The role will involve attendance at client sites and some travel should be expected. 

Skill Set Required:

  • Food Science or similar degree, or a Food Law/Trading Standards/Environmental Health (Food Standard) qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of EU and UK food legislation.
  • Experience of advising businesses within a regulatory role
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to translate complex food legislation into easy to understand advice.  
  • Knowledge of the food retail and food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong IT skills.
