Business Development Manager
Our client is a well-established, award winning food manufacturer who supplies amazing chilled products to the major UK retailers and foodservice companies. This fast paced and desirable company are now looking for an experienced Business Manager to join their successful team at their large production facility in the West Midlands.
Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, you will be tasked with creating and executing customer specific account plans which are in line with company strategy and targets for this high profile customer. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the accounts, formulating promotional plans which will drive sales which will deliver against forecasts. You’ll keep abreast of industry movements to identify new business as well as cost saving opportunities. You’ll also analyse and interpret consumer trends to support your plans to enhance category performance, presenting your findings and liaising closely NPD teams to provide business and product solutions in line with specific customer briefs.
We are looking for a proactive and tenacious Business Account Manager who has experience of working in a similar role within the chilled sector of food manufacturing. You must have a strong commercial acumen and awareness with extensive experience in developing and maximising business opportunities to achieve ambitious targets with highly profitable results. It is essential that you have experience of working within the airline sector where you have gained first class communication, negotiation and project management skills and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to surpass customer expectations.
