This is an excellent opportunity to join a talented team where you will ensure that all products comply with food safety, quality and legal requirements through the implementation of technical and quality systems. Whilst actively promoting good manufacturing processes, you will also calibrate monitoring equipment, conduct product assessment on finished goods as well as conducting QA line checks and internal audits. The identification of root cause of non-conformity / complaints and the implementation of corrective actions together with completing all relevant paperwork in accordance with the company standards will also be part of your role.
You will ideally be educated to a minimum of a HND level in a food science/technology discipline and/or possess solid (at least 1 year) quality assurance / technical experience from within food manufacturing. You will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of quality assurance principles, GMP, internal auditing, HACCP and BRC requirements.
The Quality Technician role is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £23,000 (& 3.3% shift allowance) plus excellent benefits including annual incentive plan bonus, pension, life assurance and 25 days holidays + bank holidays. You will work a rotating shift pattern; 6am-2pm/2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday and 10pm-6am Sunday to Thursday.
