Senior Account Manager

Package: 

Bonus up to 25% + pension

Introduction:

This is a chance to join a rapidly growing business who have over tripled in headcount over the past 3 years with further growth plans in place for the coming years including new office locations.

The Company: 

This business are well known within the nutritional ingredients industry for supplying high quality products into some of the most well known food and sports nutrition brands/manufacturers globally. 

The Role:

  • The role of the UK Account Manager is to maximise sales from existing accounts and take designated accounts that have been secured by the Business Development team to achieve individual Sales targets, set at the beginning of the financial year. 
  • Manage a account portfolio with an annual worth of circa £3m
  • Be the contact point for key accounts, building strong client relationships in order to drive sales and optimise NPD opportunities
  • Utilise Market research tools such as Innova and Euro monitor to understand market trends/ conditions

The Candidate:

  • Ideally you will be educated to degree level within Nutrition or Food Science and have good understanding of nutritional ingredients and how they work.
  • Experience working in a B2B Sales role within ingredients 
  • Experience within NPD would be advantageous
