Circa - £30,000 - £35,000, pension + car allowance
Our client is a leading company within their specific sector within the food industry, although saying specific may be the wrong word as this business is massively expanding and new products are being introduced. They are currently looking to add to their long standing team due to the companies continued growth. The Quality Manager position would be best suited to an experienced quality / technical individual within the food industry. The role will be based within the trading office, this is not a factory floor based Quality Manager, so you must have regular QMS and auditing experience. Saying that, the role will require travel to the company’s other sites in order to perform regular audits and quality checks.
They Quality Manager will need to control the company suppliers, liaise with all manufacturing sites, represent the company to customers for all quality related requirements, complete internal and external auditing and deal with all regulatory bodies.
In order to be considered for the position you must:
- Have a proven background in food manufacturing within a quality / technical position
- Man management experience preferable
- Official auditing qualification would be an advantage but training can be provided
- Have an in-depth knowledge of QMS and working with major customers
