Technical Services Manager (12 month FTC)
We need a Technical Services Manager to Lead and manage the Technical Services Team, developing their knowledge and experience to provide a world class service to internal and external customers.
To advise on legal, safety and quality standards for customer codes of practices and BRC adherence. Provide practical support on Spec writing, HACCP compliance, managing and coordinating polices and procedures within our Quality Management System.
- To ensure that systems are in place to confirm that finished product specifications accurately reflect the supply base.
- To establish and maintain a process of internal auditing against the QMS to ensure compliance and to facilitate external audits.
- To manage and develop the Quality Management System across the entire business ensuring that all QMS documentation is up to date, relevant and appropriately controlled
- To ensure that a HACCP based food safety management system is in place and understood to meet Food Safety, Quality and Legality, and customer specified requirements
- To ensure that a controlled system of corrective action management is in place that addresses root cause and promotes continuous improvement
