This company specialises within a certain food sector of the food industry and they are extremely well known for their high quality and standards within their field. The contributing factor to wanting to work on this site is their modern and dynamic facility with around 250 employees on site.

The Key Responsibilities for the QA Auditor is:
*Ensure that all their products are of a high and consistent quality.
*Ensure all products are safe and legal.
*Maintain all up-to-date knowledge of products and encourage team members to develop their product knowledge.
*Liaise with the production team.
*Liaise with accreditation bodies and local authority to assist during factory audits.
*Investigate and record customer complaints.
*Audit all Production and Hygiene departments.
*Ensure that all waste is stored effectively and removed in a timely manner.
*File specifications of all supplies and ensure that they are of the correct edition.
*Ensure that all supplies have Certification of Analysis or Compliance.
*Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers.

The Qualifications/Training for the QA Auditor is:
*Food science or food technology degree would be preferable however qualifications in other aspects would surpass.
*Relevant work experience in a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable - but this could have been gained during a final year placement whilst still studying.
