The business is a UK market leader in its field with extensive industry experience working with household brands. This BRC A-grade certified food manufacturing company offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for delivering the site’s daily operational plan by effectively employing appropriate resources. The role also includes aspects of Health & Safety, people, goods-in/out, production/warehouse, loading activities and stock management systems.
You will ensure all H&S procedures are followed, ensure product quality is maintained and all customer requirements and daily outputs are delivered in full, ensure consumables, packaging and all other resources are in place, update ERP system as required, plan the labour resource for the upcoming days/weeks and motivate, coach and manage team members to get the most from each person and team.
We are seeking a committed and positive individual with previous supervisory / team leading experience from within a production / warehouse environment, most ideally food manufacturing. You will have strong H&S knowledge and experience (ideally IOSH trained), good computer skills including in-house ERP system and the ability to interpret production, warehouse & loading plans and customer delivery notes. You will also be results-orientated with a positive attitude to drive forward continuous improvement.
The Production Supervisor job is based in the Yorkshire region and is paying up to £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are 7am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays (6 hours maximum).
