I am currently recruiting for a two Shift Engineers for one of my clients' sites in West Norfolk (3 days, 2 off, 2 nights, 3 off shift pattern).

You'll be working at the company's site in West Norfolk and as a Shift Engineer you will work towards continuous improvement of all machinery equipment and ways of working in line with business strategy. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and reduce quality issues and comply with legislative, business and site procedures and practices, as well as supporting NPD department with any initiatives. You'll support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance and work alongside side Engineering team.

- Recognised engineering qualification
- Experience with fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs
- Manufacturing environment experience
Previous experience in multi-skilled engineering is essential, both mechanical and electrical; this could either be through an engineering apprenticeship, degree or HNC. It would be desirable if you had previous experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG, however any experience in relevant sector will be considered. Knowledge and experience with fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs and highly automated machinery is preferred.
You will have an ability to work in a team and on own initiative while supporting your colleagues if help is needed.
