My client is now a well-established Product Development technology business with a firm presence and foothold across the FMCG sectors. By using the very latest behavioural science they help firms transform their NPD and Innovation functions and have revolutionised the validation process.

The business is in high growth and is led and supported by a team of high profile industry professionals with a strong entrepreneurial edge and appetite for success. They are now looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to join their team in Manchester who is ideally from a NPD background.

The role will require someone who is hungry and experienced in product development with a good technical understanding of food manufacturing, concept and launch processes, project management, and customer systems and set up.

You will be a key part of the commercial team and heavily involved with the customer base (manufacturers and retailers) providing know how, credibility and capability. The role will involve travel to sites, you will have close customer contact directly and indirectly. The role has the potential to grow with a focus upon developing the team.

You will be a very good commercial NPD manager who understands customers and sales. You will add instant credibility and have a strong work ethic and mind-set. You will be looking for a change of environment and challenge but yet still want to retain and use the skills you have built up over your career to date in NPD.  This client offers a strong commercial and mentally stimulating environment as the team is highly capable and well recognised particularly in the food industry.  The role also offers flexibility around days, hours and commitments, the team fit is crucial and the right person will really enjoy being a part of this team and a business in very high growth.
