This manufacturer is part of a national business and supplies products to both food service and other manufacturers throughout the UK. It has driven the development of this exciting niche market into a fast-growing new sector for the food industry.
The purpose of the Technical Administrator job is to manage the day to day technical administration function by ensuring all technical data is collated/documented and uploaded onto the technical systems keeping them fully up to date.
You will manage all documentation relating to suppliers and service provider approval, conduct induction training for new employees, manage, review and update training records, review and update where necessary relevant hygiene documentation, participate in periodic technical/HACCP review meetings, collate all data required for the quarterly KPI review meetings, closing out any non-conformances relating to any issues raised plus conduct allocated internal audits.
To be considered for the Technical Administrator job, you will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science/technology discipline and have previous experience working in a technical role from within food manufacturing. You will have experience of carrying out internal audits, be computer literate with confidence using Word and Excel, possess good communication skills plus be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
The Technical Administrator job is based in the London region and is paying £22,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm including overtime as required during peak periods.
