To maintain database with all supplier approval packs for ingredients.Including SharePoint, Technical Data and the Access Database.
To develop and maintain partnerships with ingredient suppliers through monitoring of standards, giving feedback and advice and, when required, overseeing an action plan to rectify non-conformances and improve standards.
Check and approve raw material ingredient specifications ensuring that suppliers have current copies that are signed and readily available to sites.
Liaise with Raw Material Ingredient Suppliers, Company Purchasing and Technical Departments to ensure that raw material is delivered to agreed specifications.
The effective communication of new and amended ingredient specifications to Company Purchasing, Technical and Production Departments to ensure awareness.
Ideally educated to degree level within Food Sector.
Some experience of either QA work or preferably specification work desirable.
The successful applicant must be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office to include, Word, PowerPoint and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication skills as group technical deal with customers, suppliers and various departments within all sites.
Be able to work in small team and individually.
They must very organised as they will be dealing with queries from customers and various departments from all over the business.
They must hold a full current driving licence and be willing to travel (typically once a month)
