Technical Services Manager



My client is currently looking for a Technical Services Manager to join their team. They are a growing food manufacturer that work with all major retailers and foodservice customers.

The position is a Monday-Friday position

The Role:

  • Ensuring the technical team are up to date on legal and standard changes and have training to ensure business compliance.
  • To ensure the company quality manual is current and all systems are up to the latest BRC accreditation standard.
  • To review and maintain quality procedures and policies, including document control system and QADEX.
  • To review and maintain process control systems and check sheets.
  • To carry out regular company audits to include process, HACCP and hygiene.
  • To ensure corrective actions are issued and complied with for all NCNs.
  • To ensure systems are in place to reject non-conforming products and raw materials.
  • To liaise with 3rd party service providers such as pest control and scales provision and calibration.
  • To audit supplier compliance on a risk-assessed basis.
  • To ensure corrective action is carried out as a result of pest control non-conformances.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years in food industry experience
  • Completion of Internal Audits
  • Completion of supplier audits
  • Use of Customer retail systems
