This role is working for a large manufacturer of recognisable UK brands. Part of a large international group, the business is always in the search for talented people who can contribute to providing the best products and services to their customers nationwide.
Your role as Engineering Technician is to provide an engineering resource to support the efficient manufacturing of quality bakery goods, in a safe manner while promoting and maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
The job includes planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs, installation and modification to plant and services to attain world class performance from the assets. The role holder will be involved in dealing with employees at all levels of the business and liaising with different departments as needed while complying and assisting in the creation of high standards and procedures.
You will be able to demonstrate solid experience as a skilled Engineer within a food manufacturing environment, most preferably bakery. You will have previous man management experience and a good working knowledge of CMMS and continuous improvement techniques. Required qualifications include NVQ level 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering plus 17th Edition wiring regulations.
The Engineering Technician job is based in the London region and is paying £42,659. The role is working 42 hours per week on a 4 on, 4 off shift basis.
