Fast growing global FMCG brand are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
The Client have a global presence and are experiencing high profits due to the high quality of their product. This product is made solely at their site in Bristol which has led to high investments and brand new machinery being installed.
The key responsibilities for a Maintenance engineer will be:
Attend to all breakdowns within all areas when required.
Support the production operators with help and knowledge to enable the machines to run efficiently.
Work in a pro-active manner to eliminate problem areas.
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance as required to a high standard, respecting quality and safety guidelines.
Support Site Services Department when required.
Complete Continuous Improvement Activities.
he Successful Maintenance engineer will:
Multi-skilled, preferably mechanically biased, but not essential.
City and guilds or NVQ3 qualified in an engineering or maintenance discipline
Time served and qualified maintenance engineer.
Multi-skilled preferred or prepared to work towards.
Familiarisation working on large machinery.
Ability to work unsupervised and work within a team
Technically discuss issues/opportunities as required
People from packaging backgrounds will have an advantage.
* Shift pattern averages out to 36 hours / week over the year
* 21 day break built into pattern over summer months (July, August & September)
* 3 floating holidays available to book across the year
* Majority of improvements & planned repairs completed at weekends, overtime readily available and potential earnings of £55k + per year
