This really is an excellent opportunity for career progression and ongoing development - the shift pattern is based on two 12 hour days shifts, two 12 hour nightshifts followed by four rest days.
Production & Packaging Technician role is focused on the efficient operation of bakery plant and equipment to produce high volumes of baked goods every day.
Key Aspects of the role include:
·Running equipment as efficiently as possible to achieve optimum production levels
·Ensuring product quality is achieved and any problems addressed quickly
·Utilise Continuous Improvement Tools and Techniques
·Input to personal and team development plans
·Working closely with other departments and cross team processes
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Will be able to demonstrate a logical approach to fault finding, good manual dexterity, numerical skills and experience of working safely in a fast-moving environment.
The Following also of high importance for this role:
·Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
·Strong computer skills
·Able to record and interpret data quickly and accurately
·Ability to make and take decisions in fast paced environment
·Strong Communication Skills
·Food Manufacturing or very similar background
