You will be working for a well-established and highly respected manufacture of speciality products. This business has been growing well over the last few years and this is therefore an exciting time to join the team.
As Purchasing Executive, you will take on an important role in stock control and accounting procedures providing an efficient service within the operations team.
You will raise purchase orders for raw materials and ingredients, monitor stock levels of ingredients and calculate current stock value, place orders with suppliers as requested by the production team and source alternative providers if necessary. You will also reconcile invoices, sign off incoming invoices and arrange payment in conjunction with the accounts team, generate reports as required plus work closely and support other functional teams including planning, warehouse and manufacturing.
To be considered for the Purchasing Executive role, you must have excellent administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills together with a high level of numeracy and sound IT skills. We are looking for previous experience in a stock control/ordering role (essential) ideally with purchasing and accounts experience. A background of working in food manufacturing, most particularly bakery products, is a distinct advantage.
The Purchasing Executive job is based in the London region and is paying £20,000 - £26,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
