Production Manager - Nights
This is an exciting opportunity for an Production Manager to join a successful HIGH END meat and poultry preparation company at an important milestone in this business's development.
OUR CLIENT is an established company supplying Food Service businesses UK wide, they turn over in excess of £20million and have rapid growth plans for the future. Their Brand is associated with quality and tradition, both of which will be critical elements to maintain for future growth.
THE ROLE This role will incorporate:
·Managing and developing a production team on the Night Shift
·Maintaining the high quality standards and leading the team to ensure standards are maintained and improved.
·Set up and implement Key Performance Indicators within the Production Department
·Work with loyal staff to understand reasons & benefits of change and help them to endorse and accept this change as the way forward.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will understand the challenges of effecting change within a fast moving food business and will have good experience in multi species MEAT & POULTRY preparation. They will have many of the following:
·Confident leader and man manager - can get people buy in to change
·Commercially minded - understands importance of yield, stock optimisation and effectively utilisation of people and other resources
·Must be willing to work a permanent Night Shift - this is a medium sized business with demanding customers that operates 24 hours per day.
Of course you will be an excellent communicator, high integrity and will be able to commit blood, sweat and tears to the business!!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
·Salary Circa £35-40,000 according to experience
