Specifications Administrator, Food Industry, Manchester
A global food ingredients business is looking to recruit a Specifications Administrator to be a point of contact for customers in the EMEA region.
This is great opportunity to progress your career in the food industry while joining a leading food ingredients manufacturer. Working on a global scale this business continues to grow and expand its product portfolio while remaining the "go to supplier" for starches and sweeteners.
As Specifications Administrator you will be the point of contact for customers in the UK, Europe and Africa for any product specification or quality document requests. You will work closely with the sales teams to ensure commercially critical information is received in a timely manner while balancing the needs of existing customers.
The type of background we are looking for in this role is:
- Experience in the food industry, preferably in a Quality or Technical role
- HND/Degree (or equivalent) in a science based subject
- Knowledge of specifications and/or quality documentation
- Good computer skills; databases, Microsoft office, Salesforce
- Experience with customer contact
