The business has been operating for nearly 50 years offering their customers such as restaurants, retailers and wholesalers a comprehensive range of over 8000 authentic products. With an intimate understanding of the food production process and their own BRC accredited factory, great importance is placed on the provenance and traceability of all their products.
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the safety and quality systems across multiple sites, including a BRC grade A accredited factory where ambient, chilled and frozen products are manufactured, as well as a retail shop in London.
This progressive and dynamic company also supplies to major retailers whether direct or through other manufacturing business’s and is steadily expanding into foodservice markets.
You will manage technical standards across the sites to ensure that food safety, legality and quality standards are met at all times plus manage site audits conducted by customers, statutory bodies, third party audit and internal audits in an efficient and timely manner.
You will be a results orientated and driven individual who can demonstrate a good understanding of operating integrity and have high standards for compliance and quality. You will have solid technical management experience within food manufacturing including management of BRC, HACCP and site audits plus possess a background of working with major retailers. Fluency in Chinese is highly preferred although not essential.
The Technical Manager job is based in the London region and is paying £35,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
