This role is working for a large manufacturer of recognisable UK brands. Part of a large international group, the business is always in the search for talented people who can contribute to providing the best products and services to their customers nationwide.
Your role as Technical Manager will be to drive and support product safety and quality assurance within the business.
You will act as a centre of knowledge and excellence on matters of food quality, safety & due diligence, lead and develop the individuals within the technical team, deliver and maintain any third party direct accreditation standards plus oversee a food safety and quality management system that facilitates monitoring and compliance with BRC, legislative and all customer technical standards.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive technical management experience from within food manufacturing, a bakery background would be perfect! You will also be an experienced team manager together with extensive BRC, PRU auditing knowledge. We a seeking an exceptional and dedicated candidate; a passion for continuous improvement of food safety standards and systems within the business is essential. The Technical Manager job is based in the London region and is paying £45,000 - £55,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours will be Monday to Friday and flexibility will be required at times to meet the needs of the business.
