The hiring company is a successful privately owned business that has really made space for themselves in the market though working to a great standard and establishing themselves within their sector. In order to maintain their high standards, they are now seeking a H&S Manager to support and train the team to a great level.

The Health & Safety Manager will:
*Implement procedures and write risk assessments when needed.
*Ensure that all departments including engineering and facilities have up to date paperwork for any contractors that visit the site.
*Maintain the companies H&S Policy for the site alongside the member's senior management.
*Ensure all staff members are inducted in Health and Safety site standards and meet expectations.
*Accurately record all breaches to Health and Safety in order to take immediate action.
*Oversee, lead and support H&S team
*Manage the fire safety policy and procedures and their practical implementation across the business including management of the physical fire system infrastructure, periodic evacuation drills and regular fire system inspection and tests.

As Health and Safety Manager within this company, you must also have desire to get really stuck in with the role and company culture and also display a 'can-do' attitude. Alongside this, you may have come from a HSE advisor role, HSE associate or Health and Safety manager position previously but it is also essential that you are training in COSHH and hold a NEBOSH certificate due to the nature of the role.
