If so this role is for you. My client is at the forefront of innovation in the food manufacturing industry. They produce a range of high quality products to the food service sector. Due to a recent retirement, they are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the engineering department.

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer your main responsibilities will include attending to breakdowns and planned maintenance in addition to project work including design, overhaul and commissioning new production lines and continuous improvement tasks to increase OEE.

A successful candidate will have experience within a food manufacturing and hold an engineering qualification in either mechanical or electrical such as HNC, City and Guild's, or a time served apprenticeship with at least 2 years' experience.

PLC experience would be high regarded. Exposure to a planned maintenance system and a good understanding of how to execute tasks properly is needed. There is currently a big focus OEE and TPM.
