Training & Development Manager, London

This company is excellent at a lot of things which has led to lots of success - they are category lead in three quarters of the products they produce. With secure and growing commercial agreements in place with major customers, the business is now creating this new role to spearhead a new L&D department and ensure they are the employee of choice.
This role will have full control over the whole L&D department (two Training Co-ordinators plus Factory Trainers report into it) for a multi-site business unit in West London. What's really exciting is that it is a new role meaning there is a blank slate and you will be able to implement your vision of what Best in Class Training / L&D should be.
This business has traditionally been strong on weekly paid training but there are areas identified for improvement. However, this role will be key in bringing new ways of working for senior leadership development - in essence you will need to be a Training Manager as well as a Business Coach.
While you will need to have excellent Training / L&D pedigree and have a demonstrable track record of setting up training functions, the company is happy to accept applications across a wide range of sectors. What is important is a background and focus on compliance. Additional qualifications in training are desired.
