We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Manager to join an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a friendly and supportive team with a fantastic, fun working atmosphere.
An experienced Production Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a production team through GMP. You’ll use your experience to instill a culture of engagement, continuous improvement and lean working, improving the overall efficiency.
You will manage and control materials processing and packing of all products to optimum efficiency, control all direct costs and manage budgets, improve and develop SOP’s and utilise problem-solving techniques, team-building strategies, process-control and continuous improvement tools to meet and exceed the facilities KPI’s.
We are looking for an intelligent, resourceful, flexible individual with great communication skills who is interested in joining and making a difference to a successful and highly driven team. You will have extensive experience in food manufacturing (essential) and will have worked in a FMCG environment with mid to high changeovers. You will have knowledge of performance evaluation, budgeting concepts and reporting on key production metrics plus be proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP software.
The Manufacturing Manager job is based in the Home Counties / East Anglia region and is paying up to £50,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
