This job is working for a very well-established and respected manufacturer supplying into the retailer and food service markets as well as other food manufacturers.  Always at the forefront of product development and innovation they have continually invested in new facilities and the latest technologies.

The job

As Quality Assurance Champion, you will assist the technical / quality team in ensuring ongoing compliance against company standards within the production and warehouse areas.

You will verify production line setup, assist with glass, GMP and fabrication audits, support staff QA training needs, monitor cleaning standards, assist with breakages and safe release back to production plus carry out environmental, allergen and other testing (swabbing and sampling).

Your experience

You will possess relevant qualifications including Level 2+ in Food Safety, HACCP and allergen training plus have good technical/QA experience from within the food manufacturing industry. Laboratory experience is also highly desirable and, to succeed, you will have good leadership and influencing ability plus excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.

The Quality Assurance Champion job is based in the South East and is paying £23,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
