Reporting to the Site Director, main responsibilities will include the following: To ensure that quality, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained and promoted within the company to the satisfaction of customers and in line with the requirements of all relevant legislation and codes of practice; To provide Technical leadership to the site and coaching all site Technical functions and Hygiene in order to improve due diligence, site performance and continuous improvement; To support and drive and improve the QMS and control systems ensuring the performance and conformance of the business in line with food safety risk assessments, legal quality and customer expectations; Build customer relationships and exceed customer expectations; Liaise with customers at appropriate level on issue resolution and proactive technical management; Collate monthly KPI reports and identify opportunities for improvement; To lead the research, origination, technical specification and implementation of NPD and launches.
Ideally Food Science Degree qualified or equivalent, you will have a minimum of 5 years proven experience within a Food Manufacturing environment. You must have strong experience working with the Major Retailers. You will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, capable of building cross functional relationships across the business. Applications are welcome from any food background.
