We have recently placed a Procurement Manager into the business and they now need a Buyer to work closely with this individual and the MD of the company to facilitate growth. Key responsibilities include:
Identifying, sourcing and developing products.
- Analysing and creating reports, to track price and stock movements.
- Ordering and maintaining stock.
- Lead the contract negotiations for all raw materials and manage supplier relationships.
- Implement and manage a supplier quality management system.
- Maintain and update pricing and supplier data.
Candidates must have purchasing/stock experience in a fast moving environment (ideally food).You will need to have great communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. First class negotiation skills are a must for this role.
