One of our top clients is looking to bring in a Production Shift Manager to join their business at this really exciting time. Based in West London, this Production Shift Manager liaise closely with the Planning Team to ensure that production plans are optimal and achievable prior to being issued. They will also manage and motivate the production supervisors ensuring that they are sufficiently skilled and capable to carry out their roles.

The business are one of the leading companies within the chilled foods world and are a highly premium and instantly recognisable brand. A £600m business, they have just invested in a brand new, state of the art engineering facility in order to generate and innovate all new products going into the second half of 2018.

Other important features of the Production Shift Manager position will include the conducting of daily production meetings at the start of each day and on shift change, in order to effectively communicate the production plan and resolve day-to-day problems. Ensuring all technical procedures and policies are adhered to, conducting regular audits, maintaining high standards of safety within production, ensuring high standards of hygiene are met are all key responsibilities of this role that will need to be undertaken.

There are many facets to this position that can explained in greater detail if required. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and will also be able to form strong relationships, as this is important in maintaining a high level of service and quality. Negotiating and networking skills would be an excellent asset to have along with a highly organised approach to working in logical and systematic way.
