Technical Support Manager



Primarily responsible for developing & maintaining technical relationships across a broad range of new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Product Technology and the Direct Sales team to deliver agreed goals.
  • Provide product specifications and policy information to the Product Sales team as required.
  • Clearly communicate customer requirements & expectations to all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Complete customer documentation (audit questionnaires, specification requests) to agreed timescales.
  • Facilitate supplier audits with customers.
  • Support customer audits
  • Ensure the timely resolution to customer technical issues including complaint management.
  • Manage customer technical data using their nominated online systems.

Person Profile:

  • Degree qualified in Food Science or equivalent
  • Proven track record of achievement in a quality/technical role
  • Experience of providing technical support to team members
  • Experience of developing and managing positive relationships
  • Good influencing and communication skills
  • Actively participate in team initiatives for improvement ideas
  • Excellent computer skills
