This established manufacturer is continuously growing and and winning new retail contracts. They have a high emphasis on the quality of their products and ultimate customer service

The Role

To be successful within this role they are looking for candidates with prior QC Management experience in a FMCG company, ideally with a degree or equivalent experience in a food related subject. You will also have a good understanding of food product development.

Personal Profile

• Formal food related qualifications or equivalent 
• HACCP qualified 
• BRC lead or internal qualified (desirable) 
• Knowledge of all food related EU an UK regulations 
• Understanding of applicable risks to food safety, legality and quality – act to mitigate risks as perceived 
• Ability to devise practical solutions to problems in order to mitigate food safety, quality or legality risks 
• Practical knowledge within GMP 
• Strong leadership skills 
• Strong drive to achieve best practice 
• Experienced within thermal processes 
• Diligence in performing appointed tasks as prescribed 
• Ability to carry out detailed work without losing focus upon wider objectives
