I am currently working with a fantastic client of mine who operate within the food industry based in Wrexham. Reporting into the General Manager, they are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team and head up division.  

This is an excellent time to join and put your own stamp on the role with the hope to grow a wider team moving forward.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Tasks Include: Site inspections, Audits, Health, Safety & Waste meetings, Legislation compliance, Key Performance Monitoring, Accident and Incident Investigations, Root Cause Analysis, Correction Risk Assessment, Risk Assessments for Hazardous Substances (COSH) and Safe Operating Procedures.
  • Annual Health & Safety Reports, Legislations Reviews and COSH Reviews.
  • Lead OHSAS standards 3rd party audits, assist in HSE and customer audits.
  • Coordinate training activities on site including food safety, health and safety and allergen awareness.
  • Maintain training files and matrixes for all employees and issue training packs when needed.

Relevant Experience

  • NEBOSH Qualified
  • Ideally IOSH Qualified with relevant training experience
  • Experience within food manufacturing with be advantageous, but my client would consider any experience within a manufacturing environment.
