To drive and support product safety and quality assurance as a manufacturing culture, not a technical initiative. You will work closely with the operations, science and innovation and engineering departments to ensure all products meet the customer specifications and are legally compliant. This role will provide an ambitious candidate with a true career opportunity and path. As a senior member in the technical team, your influence will be crucial to supporting the development of the function on site. Passion for what you do and drive are essential. You will be expected to lead by example; supporting the Technical Manager in creating a professional and flexible team whilst fostering positive relationships with all internal departments, customers and regulatory bodies.
You will ideally be degree educated with experience of customer audits and technical visits. Exposure to working with chilled foods would also be desirable. You must have a proven track record at the management level within Food Manufacturing so that you can develop your team to reach their potential. Previous experience in identifying and driving quality and continuous improvement objectives would help enable you to make a real contribution to the site. You will be well accustomed to working to BRC and HACCP standards.
